Ready For A Mix?
For best results, follow the steps below to prepare your files for Sheff’s Audio Mixing Kitchen:

Send Files
Files must be “tracked out” from the same start point as 24-bit WAV files (.wav). No effects or processing.
Please remember to send your stereo “rough mix” that you’ve been listening to as a reference. You can upload all files in a labeled compressed folder via the link below.

Q: How much do you charge for mixing?
A: As each song and genre requires different techniques and skill sets, rates vary based on the amount of tracks, genre and type of musical elements used in the project. If you’re on a budget, we can work to find a solution that best fits your needs. Rap Mixes start @ $200. Mixes for all other genres start @ $300. All songs to be mixed will be reviewed upon receipt and client will receive a firm rate quote after file review.
Q: How long do I have to wait before my mix is complete?
A: Sheff’s Mixing Kitchen takes pride in a fast turnaround time with strict attention to both technical details and the needs of the client. During the initial consultation, actual turnaround time will be discussed.
Q: How do I receive the final mix?
A: You will receive a download link to the final file. This file will be prepared and ready for the mastering process and then can be sent directly to HDQTRZ’s Mastering Department or your chosen mastering house.
Q: I can't seem to locate my copy of the final mix you sent me. Can I get another copy of it?
A: No problem. If you ever need a copy of your final mix, Sheff’s Mixing Kitchen can retrieve it for up to 6 months after delivery.
Q: What if there is something I would like to change after you've sent the final mix?
A: Once you've received the final mix and there is something you'd like to change, Sheff’s Mixing Kitchen doesn't charge for revisions up to 90 days after delivery.
Q: Are there any additional fees after the original quoted rate?
A: Sheff’s Mixing Kitchen believes in providing clients with a stress-free experience with no hidden charges. You don't have to worry about that with us.
The Mix
A full mix includes:
- Eq and balance to each track
- Digital processing with latest plug-ins
- Frequency sweeping to remove unwanted harmonics
- Correct compression to help your song groove
- Pitch correction can be added

Play back
You will receive a download link to the final file. This file will be prepared and ready for the mastering process and then can be sent directly to HDQTRZ’s Mastering Department or your chosen mastering house.
The great thing is you will be able to make a request to make any adjustments free of charge until you're satisfied.
If you lose your copy of a mix or need to make another change no problem, you've got a 60 day grace period with no charge.attached to changes or file retrieval.
